ROCKETEER

Rocketeer: Galactic

This game was when I was playing with fireworks at holidays. The gameplay style of the Ghost Hunter demo of the Scirra Construct and my fascination for Super Metroid gave me a new idea for a game.
Gameplay:
It's a Scrolling Shooter game, not automatic scrolling, the screen scrolls as the player walks.
To move to another location, you must collect all the items you find. The game has 5 different shots and 4 armor to equip the tank.
The tank you play is driven by a guy called Stephen, and you must defeat other enemies before you run out of energy, which decreases when you collide with enemies. There are 5 different environments: Zeiken (cold area), Walltin (rocks area), Animanium (experimental laboratory), Lavigan (jungle) and Fijinian (dark area).
In each room there is a boss you must defeat to advance to the next one. All the rooms are housed on the planet Extremik.

Plot of the game:
Stephen was an employee in a fireworks store, and these were times with high sales and activity. The company saved away its greatest treasure: the Hyper Mortar. It was so destructive that people on the planet Extremik decided to transport this artifact to their planet.
Stephen then travels to the planet going through the colds of Zeiken first, invading the primitive state of the planet. He tries to find valuable items and avoid all the danger ahead, facing the guardians (bosses) of the environments too. That's because they heard of the Hyper Mortar, so they lock the doors until they're defeated.

In Zeiken the guardian is the fake version of Eyeid, protecting the Orange Armor. When Eyeid escapes, he says "We'll meet again".
Within Walltin, Stephen saw some nearly-broken rocks, so he breaks them and gains access to a secret experimental lab: Animanium. There are multiple failed experiments controlled by the Dr. Thunder, who guards the pass to Lavingan.
Lavigan is a primitive underground jungle, filled with alien dinosaurs. The king here is Attisaurus, a giant dinosaur who will kill anything trying to get the Big Explod, a legendary firework.
Then he enters Fijinian, with abysmal dangers and alien ghosts. When he knows that someone stole the Hyper Mortar, he confronts an old enemy: Eyeid.
Eyeid is more powerful this time, with a couple of attacks. When Stephen made his enemy weaker, he took the Hyper Mortar, killed Eyeid and escaped the planet through a cavern to the top.
After he arrived to Earth again, he celebrated the holidays with confidence.

Rocketeer 2: Rise of Zombies

The official sequel to Rocketeer: Galactic was coming. This time the alien undead resurrect and try to control Extremik. This game is based in Metroid II: Return of Samus, but here you kill zombies instead of metroids. There is support for 2 players and there are better mechanics.
Both projects born with the idea to be complete games, but the limitations of the Construct Classic, the lack of development time and the existence of another ideas made these projects to be left without completion. However, both demos are available, including the demo of Rocketeer 2.
